Rakuten Link

About

Rakuten Link is a communication app for Rakuten Mobile users, offering free calls and group messaging. It serves as a central hub for accessing Rakuten services, managing points, and discovering deals. For example, users can easily check their data usage and billing status directly within the app.

What Stands Out

• •Unlimited free calls and SMS to Rakuten Link users and other Japanese numbers for Rakuten Mobile subscribers.
• •Create group chats for up to 100 people, sharing messages, photos, videos, and documents.
• •Integrated access to Rakuten Group services, including point status and payment options via the Wallet feature.
• •Earn Rakuten Points by viewing ads on the Super Point Screen or participating in app-based missions and campaigns.

Things to Consider

Unlimited calls and SMS are exclusive to Rakuten Mobile subscribers within specific regions. Calls to certain numbers may incur charges, and non-app calls cost 22 yen per 30 seconds. Users should verify which numbers are supported for free communication to avoid unexpected costs.
