PosteID

About

PosteID is the official app for Italy's digital identity system (SPID). It suits Italian citizens needing to access public and private online services. For example, you can quickly log into your tax portal or health service website without needing physical documents or visiting an office.

What Stands Out

• •Register for SPID identity online using your electronic ID or passport, avoiding post office visits.
• •Complete registration by making a bank transfer from an Italian account if you don't have an electronic document.
• •Access services securely and quickly by scanning a QR code instead of typing your password.
• •Use fingerprint recognition as a faster alternative to entering your PosteID code for logins.

Things to Consider

App functions and customer support are exclusively in Italian. Accessing services requiring SPID Level 3 necessitates obtaining a specific PIN via the posteid.it website. The app's primary functionality is tied to the Italian digital identity system.
