Nest

About

The Nest app centralizes control for Google's smart home devices. It suits homeowners seeking integrated management of security, climate, and access. For instance, you can adjust your thermostat remotely before arriving home, ensuring comfort upon entry.

What Stands Out

• •Remotely adjust home temperature settings to save energy and ensure comfort.
• •Arm and disarm your home security system from any location.
• •Receive real-time alerts for smoke, carbon monoxide, or security events.
• •View live video feeds and two-way audio from Nest Cams.

Things to Consider

Some advanced Nest features, like familiar face alerts and extended video history, require a paid Nest Aware subscription. A stable internet connection is necessary for most device functions. Users should confirm specific feature compatibility with their individual Nest devices before purchase.
