onX Offroad

About

The onX Offroad app provides detailed GPS mapping and navigation for off-road enthusiasts. It helps users discover and explore trails suitable for various vehicles like ATVs and snowmobiles. For instance, a dirt biker can use it to find open routes and check trail conditions before heading out.

What Stands Out

• •Filter trails by specific vehicle types such as 4x4, SxS, dirt bikes, and snowmobiles to find suitable routes.
• •Access USFS verified data to identify legal and free camping areas in National Forests.
• •View property lines and landowner information to understand land access rights.
• •Utilize cell coverage maps to plan navigation in areas with limited service.

Things to Consider

Access to premium features like nationwide property lines requires an onX Offroad membership. While a free trial is available, full functionality is subscription-based. Users should verify the specific membership tiers and their included features to maximize their off-road adventures.
