Black Screen: video screen off

About

Black Screen allows users to play video or audio content with their device's screen turned off, primarily benefiting AMOLED and OLED users by saving battery. It is useful for listening to music or podcasts while commuting, ensuring uninterrupted playback and reduced power consumption.

What Stands Out

• •Play videos and audio content with the screen completely black, ideal for battery saving on compatible displays.
• •Utilize a floating button for quick activation and deactivation of the black screen overlay.
• •Keep media playing in the background, supporting music, podcasts, and streaming services.

Things to Consider

This application is an overlay and not a system lock screen, meaning it does not secure your device. Ensure you download the app from a verified source to avoid security risks. Functionality may vary across different device models and Android versions.

2. 02Enable the 'pure black' option for maximum battery savings on AMOLED screens.
3. 03Experiment with background playback for podcasts or music streaming.
4. 04Explore the 'always-on display' option if available for quick screen checks.
