CieID

About

CieID enables secure access to Italian public and private online services using your digital identity. It suits citizens needing to interact with government portals for tasks like renewing documents or checking records. The app simplifies authentication, allowing quick, secure logins from various devices.

What Stands Out

• •Enables PC logins by scanning QR codes displayed on websites, streamlining remote access to online services.
• •Supports smartphone logins via credential entry or app code, offering flexibility for on-the-go authentication.
• •Facilitates highest security (level 3) logins on compatible Android phones using NFC and your Electronic Identity Card.
• •Provides a PUK recovery feature for digital identity, aiding users who have forgotten their access codes.

Things to Consider

Accessing services requires activating your CIE credentials online first. Highest security login (level 3) requires an NFC-enabled Android 6.0+ smartphone. PUK recovery necessitates associating an email or phone number with your digital identity beforehand. Verify specific service requirements for compatibility.
